Donald Manildi has been curator of the International Piano Archives at the University of Maryland since 1993. He holds degrees in piano performance from the University of Washington and the Cleveland Institute of Music. He has made many appearances as a pianist in a broad repertoire of over 200 works. His presentations focus on the field of recorded pianism (historical and current) as well as on the full extent of the piano repertoire.
At IPAM Don's responsibilities include the development and preservation of collections, the acquisition of significant new materials, and attending to visits and inquiries of performers and scholars.
