Jeannette Schollaert

As Outreach and Engagement Librarian in Special Collections, I help connect communities on and beyond campus to the archival materials stewarded by Special Collections and University Archives (SCUA). I coordinate instruction with SCUA materials as well as public programming and exhibitions in Hornbake Library.

I hold a PhD in English and a certificate in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Maryland and an MA in English from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. My research explores abortion storytelling, herbal medicine, and plant knowledge in American fiction from the nineteenth century to the present.
