Motoko Lezec

Prior to the University of Maryland, I worked at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Asian Art for over ten years as curatorial staff. My research areas range from modern and contemporary Japanese printmaking, photography and film to Japanese ceramics and metalwork. At the Gordon W. Prange Collection I assist the curator with user service and outreach programs, and am coordinating a multi-year digitization project partnering with the National Diet Library of Japan.
