Yelena Luckert

As the Director of Research, Teaching & Learning at the University of Maryland Libraries, I provide leadership for the subject-liaison services, general reference and instructional services, and the development of Research Commons for the Libraries. I have been the librarian for Jewish and Slavic Studies since I first started at the University in 1995. During this time, I have been very fortunate in building successful Judaica and Slavica collections at our Libraries. I help students and faculty find and interpret information on Jewish and Russian topics, and partner with faculty in teaching information literacy, as well as developing programs and events.
