UMD Libraries has a variety of general-use equipment, from calculators to projectors and plenty of things in between! Our general-use equipment is first-come, first-serve and typically cannot be borrowed overnight or reserved in advance. To borrow general-use equipment, bring your UMD ID and visit the Tech Desk (McKeldin 2nd floor), the STEM Library service desk, the Michelle Smith Performing Arts Library service desk, or the Art Library service desk.

Description
RecWell Bike helmet. In case you need a helmet for your bike or scooter. Loan period 24 hours.
Portable 6 x USB 3.0 BD/DVD/CD burner, works with BDXL, Blu-ray, DVD, and CD media. Connects via a USB port and is compatible with both Windows and Apple OS. Loan period up to 8 hours.
Scanmarker digital highlighter and reading pen. Great for scanning notes directly to a laptop or cell phone. Compatible for both Windows, iOS, Apple, and Android devices. Loan for 8 hours.
Loanable utility or tripod cart for loan from 6 hours to 3 days. Great for transporting equipment or personal use. However, 3-day loans must be reserved online 3 days in advance. Loan period up to 3 days.
Movable power tower, plug up to 8 devices via USB and 8 devices via AC electrical outlets. Loan period 8 hours, but many are scattered throughout the 2nd Floor.
TLC has several sizes f dry erase boards. Small(11" by 17”), Medium(18" by 24") and Large(32" by 42). Marker Kits with markers and erasers can be checked out at the TLC Tech desk. Loan period up to 8 hours.
