Equipment Loan Program

UMD Libraries has a variety of general-use equipment, from calculators to projectors and plenty of things in between! Our general-use equipment is first-come, first-serve and typically cannot be borrowed overnight or reserved in advance. To borrow general-use equipment, bring your UMD ID and visit the Tech Desk (McKeldin 2nd floor), the STEM Library service desk, the Michelle Smith Performing Arts Library service desk, or the Art Library service desk.

Need to borrow items for a longer period of time, or looking for specialty equipment? Explore the options below to learn about our long-term use laptops, media production equipment, equipment for studying, health, and wellness, and more. To reserve long-term equipment, please submit the request form at least 24 hours in advance of your need.

Dry Erase Boards
Description
TLC has several sizes f dry erase boards.  Small(11" by 17”), Medium(18" by 24") and Large(32" by 42). Marker Kits with markers and erasers can be checked out at the TLC Tech desk. Loan period up to 8 hours.
