Equipment Loan Program
UMD Libraries has a variety of general-use equipment, from calculators to projectors and plenty of things in between! Our general-use equipment is first-come, first-serve and typically cannot be borrowed overnight or reserved in advance. To borrow general-use equipment, bring your UMD ID and visit the Tech Desk (McKeldin 2nd floor), the STEM Library service desk, or the Michelle Smith Performing Arts Library service desk.

Nikon D3000 series DSLR kit. Kit contains Nikon D3000 series 24.2 MP with autofocus, two Dx NIKKOR , 10-55mm, f/3.5-5.6G VR II Zoom lens, USB cable and an SD card for file transfer. Primarily for users who would like to take higher-quality still photos. Must be reserved online 3 days in advance. Loan period up to 3 days.

Lavalier Microphone Kit,
Small hands-free lapel microphones intended for production not amplification. Each kit comes with a lavalier microphone, a transmitter and receiver, a charger, an XLR to 3.5 mm cable and a 3.5mm to 3.5 mm cable. Must be reserved online 3 days in advance. Loan period up to 3 days.
