How do I Connect to Electronic Resources Off-Campus?

Remote access to library resources is available for all current University of Maryland, College Park students, faculty, and staff.

Database Finder - Research Databases

  1. Locate the database you need through Database Finder
  2. Once you've clicked the link, you will be redirected to a page where you can enter your Directory ID and Password (the username and password you use to sign into ELMS).


*If you have not already signed into another UMD service during this session, you will be asked to authenticate with DUO Multi-Factor Authentication.

WorldCatUMD - eBooks, Journal Articles

  1. Locate the item you are looking for in WorldCatUMD
  2. Look for access through the "View…" button for the material you are trying to view.
  3. Once you’ve clicked the link, you will see a page where you can enter your Directory ID and Password (the username and password you use to sign into your e-mail  ELMS).
