UMD Libraries releases survey to assess user needs.
As a part of the Libraries’ commitment to continuously improving services, programs, and resources to meet the needs of the UMD community, all students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate in a brief, online survey about their experience with UMD Libraries.
The survey is administered through the Association of Research Libraries’ LibQUAL+® program, an industry standard for research libraries, and measures service quality in multiple dimensions, including physical spaces and online access to resources. Results from survey allow the Libraries to identify best practices through benchmarking against peer institutions, analyze potential deficits, effectively allocate resources, and tailor its programs and services to better meet users’ needs.
The survey takes about 10-15 minutes and responses are anonymized. Take the UMD Libraries survey today.
