Libraries Performing System Maintenance to Improve Security and Reliability
Work now through June will require some scheduled downtime of applications and services
Between now and June, the Libraries will be performing system maintenance on the underlying infrastructure that powers our applications and services. This work is critical to the modernization of the Libraries’ digital infrastructure, resulting in improved security and reliability of library services.
During this time, the following library applications and services will be unavailable for specified periods of time: interlibrary loan, course reserves, streaming media services, the Libraries’ website, DRUM, digital collections, and off-campus access to online resources.
Planned downtime and other updates for each service will be shared on the Libraries’ Systems Status web page. While we are making every effort to minimize interruptions in service to library users, some applications may experience intermittent instability during this extended maintenance period.
If you encounter a problem with a library application, please check the Libraries’ System Status webpage before reporting the problem. Questions can be directed to Ask Us.
