Located next to the Maryland Reading Room in Hornbake Library North, these annual exhibits feature thematic displays of our unique materials. The exhibits are composed of books, manuscripts, ephemera, three-dimensional objects, and multi-media items.
- Katherine Anne Porter Room
Located on the 1st floor of Hornbake Library North, the Katherine Anne Porter Room is a replica of her personal library, set up with her furniture, and personal artifacts during her time in Washington, DC. Katherine Anne Porter (1890-1980) was an important American author, known mostly for her short stories and novel, Ship of Fools.
