Cadets' Review
The Cadets’ Review was a short-lived, small-format newspaper produced by students at the Maryland Agricultural College, as the University of Maryland was known from 1856 to 1916. The University of Maryland Archives holds 12 issues dating from February 1894 to March 1896. The editor-in-chief was a faculty member who oversaw the remaining editors, the secretary-treasurer, and the business manager for the paper, and both cadets and faculty wrote the content. The paper contained editorials, articles on stories of interest to the students, local news and announcements, short pieces of fiction or humor, poetry, accounts of athletic events, news for alumni, and advertisements.
